X-ray crawlers SPEKTROFLE'S SIREN 5, 6, etc.
X-ray crawlers are self-propelled devices designed to be used as an X-ray source for automated control of welded joints of pipelines by panoramic transmission. The devices are available in several versions, designed for different diameters of pipelines and differ in overall dimensions and power of the X-ray emitter. Crawlers are a set consisting of a self-propelled trolley powered by a battery, a main X-ray emitter designed for radiography and a command apparatus designed to control the movement of the crawler. A self-propelled trolley with the main X-ray emitter moves inside the tube. The command apparatus is installed outside the pipe next to the area intended for radiography. By giving the appropriate commands, the crawler is stopped, the seam is X-rayed and then started to move (forward-backward).
